Inline duct fans – meet the K series
A great inline duct fan is the bread and butter MVP of the ventilation world and the K fan is the OG of inline duct fans. The K fan is available in a multitude of sizes both with both EC and AC motor options. If you are interested in learning more about why the K fan is an excellent choice of EC fan applications check our our article EC is Easy, but not all EC fans are equal.
K series centrifugal circular inline duct fans are designed for installation in ducts both indoors and outdoors at any angle thanks to its airtight corrosion resistant galvanised sheet steel case. All K series fans have minimum of 25mm long spigot connections, backward-curved blades, and external rotor motors. If you are interested in learning more energy efficiency and EC fans please contact us. We also have an article about EC fans.
When it comes to EC, these fans are known for their economical use of energy and ease of control. They can be varied in speed to match an application’s demand, and operate at high efficiency levels. For the same air volume, they consume considerably less energy than a standard fan with an AC (alternating current) motor.
One of the easiest to install fans the box includes the fixing bracket and screws for mounting. The FK mounting clamp, available as an accessoriy prevents vibration transfer to the duct. The fans can be speed-controlled via a stepless thyristor or a 5-step transformer.
- Available with an EC or AC motor
- Airtight casing
- Low noise level
- Integral thermal protection
- Corrosion class C3
- Can be installed in any position
- Suitable for installation indoors or outdoors
- Maintenance-free and reliable
To protect the motor from overheating, the fan is impedance protected.
The casing is manufactured from galvanised sheet steel and folded, giving the fan a virtually airtight casing.
Duct-connected outdoor and wet room applications are possible due to the airtight casing.
The K-fans have corrosion class C3.
