      Application

      The AO range is designed for vertical installation in exhaust or supply applications. 

      Sturdy and dependable design

      The casings are manufactured from heavy gauge steel with pre-drilled roll-formed flanges. Cases are hot-dip galvanized to AS1650 standard to ensure high quality and a long lifetime.

      Tested according to ISO 5801 and AMCA 210

      The AXC axial fans have been performance tested in accordance with ISO 5801 and AMCA 300 standards.

      Construction

      The bifurcated casing is made from hot-dip galvanised steel according to ISO 1461 with pre-drilled flanges. The terminal box with IP 65 is mounted outside on the  casing.

      Impeller

      The impellers are made of aluminum and are dynamically balanced in accordance with ISO 21940-11, balancing quality G6,3, and vibration limits according to ISO 14694.

      Motor

      Standard models are driven by TEFC motors compliant with MEPS 2 and MEPS 3 and higher are available as options 

      Motor protection

      Motors are IP54 as the default option, but can be upgraded to IP66 when required.  Thermistors for motor protection are default in motor frames above xxx and can be requested at the lower sizes.  End shields are default on all motors to xxx frame –

      Control

      Motors can be speed controlled by variable frequency drives between 15 and 60 Hz.

      Installation

      The AO range is designed for vertical installation in exhaust or supply applications. When mounting fans vertically, then specialist outrigger mounts are required when the motor frame exceeds 132 size.
