Application:
Panel-type filter cassettes are applied for supply and extract air purification in circular duct ventilation systems. Designed to protect the various HVAC equipment against dust and can be used as first-stage purification filters before more efficient filters. It is suitable for use in heavy industry and industrial workshops.
Design:
The casing is made of galvanized sheet steel. The filter cassette has rubber-sealed circular spigots for airtight connection to the air ducts. The removable access cover is equipped with locks with toggle fasteners to provide easy and quick access to the filter during maintenance.
Filter:
The IFB-50 filter cassette comes complete with a standard panel filter class G3 (coarse 50% according to ISO 16890/EN 779) and is also available as a spare part for replacements. The filters used in the filter cassette must be replaced periodically. The replacement frequency depends on how the product is used and in what environment the filter cassette is located.
We recommend a pressure switch for easy indication/monitoring of filter contamination. The recommended final pressure drop for the contaminated filter is the lowest value between the following: (Initial Pressure for clean filter + 50Pa) and (3 × Initial Pressure for clean filter).
Installation:
The IFB-50 filter cassette can be installed in any position to the circular spiral ducts directly or by using fast clamps (accessory). Access to the removable cover is needed for the filter replacement.
